TMI / FOR INVESTORS

BUYING THE COMPANY
IS ONLY THE BEGINNING.

TMI helps investors see the operating company clearly, decide what matters, and build the next version after close.

WHERE THE MODEL MEETS THE OPERATION

THE DILIGENCE WAS FINE.
THE COMPANY IS HARDER.

ONE SYSTEM / ACROSS THE HOLD

SEE THE COMPANY.
FIX THE CONSTRAINTS.
REPEAT WHAT WORKS.

01 / BEFORE CLOSE

UNDERSTAND THE ASSET.

Operational diligence, owner dependency, technology assessment, systems risk, knowledge concentration, and growth visibility—the questions that decide whether the thesis survives contact with the operation.

02 / AFTER CLOSE

BUILD THE VALUE-CREATION PLAN.

Post-close transformation, reporting, intelligent systems, brand modernization, sales infrastructure, and management visibility. Built and installed, not delivered as a recommendation.

03 / ACROSS THE PORTFOLIO

MAKE THE NEXT COMPANY FASTER.

Repeatable playbooks, consistent intelligence, cross-portfolio patterns, and a shared transformation language—without private company data moving between holdings.

04 / AT EXIT

SELL A COMPANY THAT PROVES ITSELF.

Documented process, institutionalized knowledge, and reporting that answers a buyer's questions without a scramble. The same work that improved operations shortens the next diligence.

COMMON QUESTIONS

WHAT INVESTORS
ASK FIRST.

Can you work before we own the company?

Yes. Operational diligence, owner-dependency assessment, and a systems and technology review are often most valuable pre-close, while the findings can still affect price, structure, or the decision itself.

Do patterns from one portfolio company reach another?

Reusable patterns, playbooks, and benchmarks improve how fast TMI works. Private company data does not move between holdings.

How does this fit with existing management?

It works through them. The systems have to be operated by the people running the business, so management involvement is a requirement rather than a courtesy.
