- Is this a score?
- No. There is no number, no grade and nothing out of a hundred, and the route that produces it has a test asserting it never returns one. It reports what it found and what it did not. A number you generate about yourself is the thing this site has always refused.
- What do you do with my address?
- We fetch the page, read it, and show you the answer. Nothing is stored unless you ask us to send it to you, and you are not asked for an email until after you have already seen the result.
- It says I am missing things. Is that bad?
- It is normal, and most of it is half an hour of work by whoever looks after your site. Every check above is something you can go and fix without us. If you would rather know what the same exercise finds inside the business, that is the audit.
- Why would TMI give this away?
- Because it is the shortest honest demonstration of what we do. We read what a company has already produced and show it what is in there. If reading one page is useful, reading the whole company is the thing worth paying for.
